THE ANVIL

Think about a blacksmith. She's able to forge timeless items out of wrought iron by striking hammers onto their work piece. The anvil is an essential tool for this to work. Its inertia allows the energy from a heavy strike to be transferred to the work piece, allowing her to shape the metal however she pleases. 

The anvil represents your mind: your ideas and aspirations. Those thoughts will always be present, but the final product is only formed if you combine the anvil’s inertia with the energy of your strike.
